私たちがこの地に住み続けて１２０年。全国の銘木を贅沢に使い、伝統の技と誇りを纏った和の邸宅を創りました。この空間が訪れてくださった方々を優しく癒してくれることを願っています。

Built in 2025, this building has a floor area of about 120 square meters. The owner’s family has lived on this land for over 120 years since the Meiji era. The two-story structure with a loft is built using traditional Japanese methods. With its abundant use of natural wood, the house offers a calming and restorative atmosphere for visitors.

玄関の天井には神社の木(社木/しゃぼく)を使った格天井(ごうてんじょう)。上り框（あがりかまち）には大変珍しい黒柿（柿の木が黒く変化したもの）が使われています。

At the entrance, the ceiling features a coffered design made from sacred shrine wood (shaboku). The threshold (kamachi) is made from rare black persimmon wood, created when persimmon naturally darkens — a material seldom seen.

１Fには寿司バーのカウンターがあります。樹齢数百年の檜のカウンターと古伊万里など日本各地から集めた器で食事を楽しむことができます。また、寿司職人を招いて、本格的な寿司を楽しむこともできます。

On the first floor, there is a sushi bar counter. Guests can enjoy meals on a hinoki counter made from a tree over a hundred years old, served on historic ceramics such as antique Imari ware collected from across Japan. A professional sushi chef can also be invited for an authentic sushi experience.

茶室 – tea room –

カウンターの前には、茶室設計で有名な建築家で茶道家の椿邦司氏がデザインした茶室があります。７名ほどでお茶会を開くことができます（お茶のお道具はお持ち込みください）。畳の上ですき焼きを楽しむ設備もご用意しています。

In front of the counter is a tea room designed by the renowned tea master and architect Kuniji Tsubaki, famous for his tea room architecture. It can host tea gatherings of up to seven people (please bring your own tea utensils). Facilities are also available for enjoying sukiyaki on the tatami.

檜風呂 – bath room –

お風呂は富士山の麓で作られた檜風呂です。浴室内の石は秋田県の「十和田石」。温泉旅館で使われるこの石は水をかけると色が変化し、滑りにくい効果もあります。大人２名で使える湯船はご家族でお楽しみいただけます。

The bath is a traditional hinoki tub crafted at the foot of Mt. Fuji. The stones in the bathroom are “Towada stone” from Akita Prefecture, commonly used in hot spring inns. When water is poured over them, their color deepens and they become slip-resistant. The tub fits two adults and can be enjoyed by the whole family.

２Fには日本とアジアをテーマにしたバーカウンターを中心に寝室があります。１階で食事を楽しんだら、２階で日本のウイスキーを楽しむのはどうでしょう。ミャンマーから取り寄せた貴重なチーク材のカウンターと１００年以上前の建物から移築したステンドグラスをお楽しみください。タイルは戦国武将で茶人の古田織部が好んだとされる織部焼の特注品です。緑の釉薬が特徴の織部焼のタイルを眺めながらお酒をお楽しみください。

The second floor centers around a bar with a Japanese and Asian theme, along with bedrooms. After dining downstairs, why not enjoy Japanese whisky upstairs? The counter is made from rare teak imported from Myanmar, and stained glass salvaged from a building over 100 years old adds character. The tiles are custom-made Oribe ware, favored by the tea master and warlord Furuta Oribe, with their distinctive green glaze — a perfect backdrop for enjoying a drink.

寝室 – bed room –

寝室は３箇所です。２FにはベッドルームCamellia Room（洋室/２名）と小上がりに沖縄の琉球畳を敷いたOkinawa Room(ふとん/３名)があります。１Fの茶室にも布団を敷いて泊まることができます（ふとん/３名）

There are three sleeping areas. On the second floor is the Camellia Room (Western-style bedroom with beds for 2) and the Okinawa Room (a raised tatami room with Ryukyu tatami, futons for 3). The first-floor tea room can also be prepared with futons for 3 guests.
